ECONOMYNEXT – Sri Lanka’s shares gained over 1 percent in mid-day trade on Wednesday (07) after slipping in the previous session, the Colombo Stock Exchange data showed.
The main All Share Price Index moved up 1.40 percent or 130.16 points to 9,460.49 at 1130 hours.
The most liquid S&P SL20 gained 0.88 percent or 26.45 points to 3,024.64.
Market generated a turnover of 4.2 billion rupees.
Top gainers were Richard Pieris, Royal Ceramics and Cargills. (Colombo/Sept07/2022)
