CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 2022 WEEK-1 SCHEDULE 

# 3 June, Friday:

* Crystal Palace vs. New Star at 3.30 p.m. at Maligapitiya Grounds, Kurunegala

* SLTB vs. Moragasmulla at 3.30 p.m. at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo

* Matara City vs. Negombo Youth at 3.30 p.m. at Kotawila Grounds, Matara

# 4 June, Saturday:

* Java Lane vs. Police at 3.30 p.m. at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo

* Pelicans vs. Super Sun at 3.30 p.m. at Maligapitiya Grounds, Kurunegala

# 5 June, Sunday:

* Saunders vs. Solid at 3.30 p.m. at Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo

* St. Mary’s vs. Serendib at 3.30 p.m. at Maligapitiya Grounds, Kurunegala

Champions League 2022, organised by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) aka Football Sri Lanka (FSL), is set to kick off today (3).

The SLF released the week-one fixtures yesterday (2) and a total of seven matches will be played today and during the weekend at four key venues across the country.

The SLF selected 14 teams for the tournament and they will compete with each other in a league format.

Each team will play a total of 13 matches, one against every team, and the entire tournament will see close to 100 matches being worked off in the coming month or so. 

All the matches will be at four designated venues selected by the federation:

* Matches in Colombo will take place at the Sugathadasa Stadium

* In the Southern Province, matches will take place at the Kotawila Grounds, Matara

* In the hill capital, Kandy, the matches will be held at the Bogambara Stadium, and

* Maligapitiya Grounds in Kurunegala will host the matches in the Northwestern Province
