Senior Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police Ajith Rohana, the DIG in charge of Crimes and Traffic has been transferred to the Southern Province. Meanwhile, Senior DIG in charge of Southern Province Rajitha Sri Daminda has received a transfer to Eastern Province.
