The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) collaborated with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Vietnam to organise a media and trade familiarisation tour for a 13-member delegation which included high-profile tour operators representing the Vietnamese Travel Association (VITM).
The delegation was given a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) by Sri Lanka Tourism on Sunday (13).
During their tour, they will be co-ordinating with industry stakeholders and tourism officials to promote Sri Lanka as a potential travel destination. A business-to-business (B2B) session with local destination management companies (DMCs) and hoteliers has been arranged in Colombo on the last day of the tour.
