Ltd.’s “Pazz” brand won the gold award in the “Footwear and leather products” category at the National Industrial Excellence Awards 2022 organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB). The awards ceremony was organised to admire the contribution of Sri Lankan entrepreneurs to the national economy. Vind-Ya Industries Managing Director Mahinda Ratnayake received the award at a grand ceremony held at Waters Edge Hotel under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and former Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa.
Vind-Ya Industries, an manufacturing genuine leather men’s footwear company, has a business history spanning almost 40 years. Founded in 1983 as Vind-Ya Enterprises, the business was registered in 2012 as Vind-Ya Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. Pazz is the menswear brand in Vind-Ya Industries, and they market a wide range of internationally standardised footwear and are available at No Limit, Cool Planet, Fashion Bug, Bootz, Raheems, and other leading stores islandwide.
